How to prepare, honestly

Two weeks of small decisions that make a real difference on operation day.

Alcohol & smoking

Reduce both from two weeks out; stop completely in the final days — both affect healing and bleeding.

Blood thinners & supplements

Aspirin, certain supplements and some medications must be reviewed — tell us everything you take. Never stop prescribed medication without consulting your own doctor.

Caffeine & haircuts

Ease off heavy caffeine; do not cut your hair — our specialists prefer to see natural length.

Sleep & comfort

Sleep well, eat normally, wear a button-up shirt on the day (nothing pulled over the head).

Operation morning

Light breakfast, no coffee, arrive as you are — your coordinator handles the rest.
